Daniel E. England

Daniel has served on the board of Sons’ of Herb since its inception in 2008.

Daniel England went on to complete his Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University. He continued to pursue his track and field passion by having an Inaugural National Student Athlete Summit in Jamaica for high school athletes through The Daniel England Foundation. Daniel was awarded the Athlete of the Decade (1980’s) and in April 2018 was inducted into the Penn Relays Carnival Family Wall of Fame.

One of the many life lessons I had learned from coach Herb McKenley, “always carry yourself well in public; never let people know what you’re going through.”

England currently lives in Pembroke Pines, Florida and is employed by the State of Florida Department of Economic Security. He is USATF/IAAF Level 2 and MGCP coach certified. Daniel is a motivational speaker and the founder of The Daniel England Foundation, an athletics consulting firm.

Neil A. Hart

Neil currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Sons’ Of Herb. Neil is also the founding member of Sons of Herb.

“Herb taught me that ‘free” has no value. That lessons I have learned from him have inspired me to work hard and believe in a process and oneself. Because of his influence and support, I was able to earn a scholarship to Northern Arizona University where I graduated with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management”.

Neil’s currently a Executive Director/Market Director for JP Morgan Chase. Neil has been married since 1996 to his wife who he met in college and has two children.

Raymond D. Nelson

Raymond currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Sons’ of Herb. Raymond is also founding member of the Sons’ of Herb.

Raymond met Herb McKenley in 1986, where Herb offered Raymond the opportunity to attend Calabar High School. Herb instilled the value of hard work, dedication and commitment, which propelled Raymond to a successful academic and athletic career at Calabar and later Northern Arizona University.

Raymond is the Revenue Manager with City of Peoria in Arizona. Raymond has been married since 2000 with two children and two grand children.
